Jean Hatfield

Although Jean Hatfield has taken art lessons from time to time during her adult life, she only became a serious artist about 10 years ago. She paints landscapes, portraits, animals, and still life using colored pencils, pastels, watercolor pencils, and watercolors. Her colored pencil paintings have been accepted and have won prizes in juried art shows in Florida, Georgia, and New Mexico. In addition she also teaches pastels, colored pencil, watercolor pencil and watercolors in the Silver City area. Her art can be found in the Hearst Church Gallery (GCAG), Silver Spirit Gallery, J W Gallery, and the Gadsden Art Center in Quincy, Florida.
